My New Job....

Is taking up a lot of time. I'm sorry folks, I may not be able to post anything major this week. I'll try to find some time to poke out a couple of short stories. Think of this as... the kitchen messed up your food. I'm going to bring you some chips and salsa so you don't resort to cannibalism.

  5. I'm glad your new job's not boring, but mine is, so I need your stories.

Chips and salsa don't sound bad, but virtual chips and salsa? C'mon - I gave you a link today! Pretty please?

    Hurry back!

  8. Server-

I love your stories. I found you from Waiterrant, but REALLY enjoy your writing style.

You, Waiterrant and Insane Waiter inspired me to start my own blog on my 13 years in 'the biz.

Check it out if you have time.

    Be well.

  12. Kind of funny how that happens... you go to work at a job that requires you to work 60+ hours a week, and you don't have time to write a post for a while, and people jump ship on you.

It's also funny how some people (who have chosen to remain anonymous) think that they are entitled to something.

I blog because I enjoy it, not because I feel that some random person deserves it.

As for heading to the big time... well, that's neither here nor there. I still don't have a publisher, and to tell the truth, I haven't been looking.

  14. Server,

Love your stories, and eagerly await the next one. I understand how sometimes life gets in the way of blogging, but I know it'll be worth the wait. I'll continue to check (a few times) every day!

Take all the time you need.
I will definitely be checking back often in the hopes of a new post, but completely understand that blogging is not life and life comes first!!
Hope you have some time for sleep!!
