New Post Coming Tomorrow

Hi Folks!

Long time, no write. My sincerest apologies. I've been working my ass off at my new job, and I haven't had the time or the energy to post. I am going to start writing today and post tomorrow.

In the meantime, I want to point out two things that I discovered this week. First, I love that new show about the chef who is trying to turn his life around. Good stuff. Second, I can't wait for that movie "Waiting." I hope the writers did it right. This better not be the "Good Burger" of casual dining.

No apologies necessary. You have a life!!
However, I am looking very forward to that new post!! :)

True, Server has a life but what about the rest of us?? *WE* need Serverstories!

It's all your fault , Server - you've addicted us!

but seriously, hope the new job is cool, and meanwhile, I'll keep checking back.

best,

-j

As soon as I saw the previews for that movie, I thought of you! I will totally be going to go see it! (That sounded horribly gramatically incorrect, but oh well!)

I hope this means your new job is going well.

I'm waiting for you to have more free time . . .with baited breath.

Yeah. The check is in the mail, too.

Don't say that the post is coming tomorrow if it really isn't. I really do enjoy your writing, however I don't enjoy your lies. Just don't post if you can't post. Why bother telling us that you will?

It's pretty ballsy to make rude remarks while remaining anonymous, don't you think?
What is Server's grandma died, or his computer crashed, or he was handed a really big project with a short deadline .
Server does not OWE you anything. If you don't like waiting for his wonderful posts, then stop checking back!
And get a hobby!
There is more to life than BLOGGING!

great writing - killing time at work I checked my usual blog-fix WAITER RANT, and when he had nothing new, I looked at his links - so now I have 2 fun F & B blogs to check in with!

Having worked as a club manager for 15 years (out of THAT biz now, thank god) I like to think back on all the fun that we had in the kitchen and back of the house. Funny, my downfall as mgr was that the members thought I was "too friendly with the staff". They, for the most part, equated server with servant, the idiots! And that is why I got out!

You've substantially lowered my productivity here at work as I've found myself reading every story in the archives.

You're a great writer. I can't stop thinking about Valerie getting canned and the couple with the $50 tip and the server with AIDS, etc. With a little less profanity and a grammar checker, you could be better than waiterrant.

We're looking forward to the next story. I hope everything is all right.

Hey, man, that tomorrow is taking awful long to arrive. Come back.

Maybe The Server is caught up in one of those "Groundhog Day" kind of things. Every day he gets up and it's the same day over and over again. Therefore, tomorrow never comes. Either that or this is the LONGEST. NIGHT. EVER.
Wait!...I know what's going on...The Server is like a crack dealer...free for the first while, and then when we're hooked he stops the freebies. He's out on the street selling the new posts.
It's a theory.
Maybe we can all kill some time while we wait by coming up with different scenarios as to what the story is. Keep it creative folks!

So is this a third job..........or did you give up one of them.....and please....if you did....tell me you didn't give up the one job we have in common ;)

Please don't lower the profanity quotient or start using a grammar checker.

Thanks!
